The lovely young woman in this piece is my maternal grandmother. Grandma Vesta was about 18 years old in this photo and I must say she is gorgeous. GORGEOUS!
Look at that hair! Her lips! The adorable stitched detail on her collar!
My Grandma Vesta is an amazing woman. She and my Grandpa Sherm have been married for over 60 years. They live in the same farmhouse in Idaho where my grandpa's fields have been turning out potatoes, beet, alfalfa, wheat and more for about a hundred years. She is a hard worker and a gentle woman with a tender heart. She is one of my heroes.
