These were made back in 2006 or 2007 and I still adore them. Remember, a sharp x-acto blade is your friend. The backgrounds are dictionary paper distressed with ink pads and gouache. I just love the chalky surface it makes. Creating the paper for the trees and houses was meditative as I pounced the alcohol inks on my glossy paper making all the different colors and textures.
