Handmade Blank Books, handpainted canvas covers, cotton fabric, snaps
A few years ago I was invited to participate in a local craft fair. Having never been part of one before I agreed! I stayed up way too late painting my canvas, cutting it down, matching it up with cotton fabric for the inside, cutting and folding the inside signatures, sewing the covers, assembling the snap closures, sewing the signatures onto the covers and making cute tags to go with them. Whew!
Isn't my collection of handpainted canvas soooo pretty? I made all my own stamps from craft foam and mat board. So fun to create my own patterns and color combinations.
I ended up making almost two dozen. It was a great experience!
